1- Ceramic Tile: Ceramic tile is a mixture of clays and minerals that has been shaped , pressed , then fired at temperatures exceeding 2,000 degrees F resulting in a hard surface . The protective glaze that is applied before firing gives the ceramic tile added color and finish and makes it resistant to stains, odors, bacteria, and scratches.

2- Porcelain Tile :porcelain tile is a type of ceramic made of a very fine mixture of clays and minerals similar to those found in fine dinnerware .These special clays allow porcelain tile to be fired at temperatures even higher than ceramic tile, typically exceeding 2,400 degrees F. The higher temperature results in a very dense tile. And the denser a tile, the better it resists moisture.

3- Natural stone:

(a)-Tumbled marble and travertine : it assumes a matte finish and irregular edges as a result of processing .Slip resistance is higher and scratches are less obvious than with the polished version.

(b)- Marble : Is softer and more porous than some stones , it is frequently enhanced by polishing , a process that can be repeated as needed to maintain the high gloss .

(c)- Granite : exhibits less variation of color and texture than other natural flooring materials . The brilliant shine adds a reflective visual element to any setting . Granite withholds heavy foot traffic and is resistant to most chemicals.

(d)- Slate : dramatic , clefted , layers and broad ranges of color within each piece characterize slate . Slate is commonly used for both indoor and exterior applications .

(e)- limestone: interesting , and extremely durable , this stone is seeing a revival on floors , entries , walls , walkways and counter tops.
